WinCC Activation Problem

Duncan Posts: 22 Rating: (1)	Hello Friends, I am facing a problem withWincc activation.I am using PCS7 and when I activate Wincc it gives a error in German which means "no connection to the action control" in english.After this it automatically starts deactivating. Salma Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	If you do have Global Script Runtime enabled youcould try deleting the UsedVBSModules.CVB file from your <project directory> \ Config folder as it may be corrupted. Delete the file, open the VBS Editor, open one of your Actions and save it. This will recreate the file.

When I open the VBS-Editor it gives me error in the left column as CCScriptTree.ocx Wincc error:Access fault. Is there any solution to this problem or I need to install PCS7 again?Also I heard that we need to format our PC to instal the PCS7 again otherwise it doesn't get installed properly. Duncan Posts: 22 Rating: (1)	Yes,the problem also persist for new projects.I also deinstalled Wincc and installed it again but still the same problem exists.Can we seperately deinstall wincc and install it again for PCS7 or I need to reinstall entire PCS7 again? Duncan.

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (172)	Hi, in principle you can just deinstall WinCC and then install it from the PCS7 DVD again (NOT from a WinCC CD). BUT in my experience it`s recommended to install windows and then pcs7 - nothing else in order to exclude problems caused by any other (non siemens-software). nemo
