Fault F025 on Simovert Masterdrive VC

rino99 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Good moorning, I have this fault F025 on Simovert Masterdrive VC after 2-3 minutes that the motor is running. I have tried to change the board CU2 without result. What can be the issue? Best regards

Best regards Hi, F025 indicates that there is a problem with the 'U' output phase, and your course of action depends largely on the type and size of the Masterdrive you have. 1a/. Can you perform a Motor Insulation Resistance test? 1b/. Are there any ground faults on the drive outputs? 2/. Does the drive have a -K80 (Safe Stop) option fitted, and does this operate as expected? 3/. Can you perform a diode check between the DC link and the motor output phases on the drive? If you have a compact unit, you arequite limited if you suspect hardware problems, the best bet is a service exchange from Siemens. If you have a chassis unit, then replacement of the defective hardware is far easier, of course, the difficulty is locating the defective hardware. This fault can be caused by: A/. IGBT Transistors B/. IGD Transistor Driver card C/. IVI - Inverter Interface Card D/. PSU - Power Supply. As you have already changed the CU, I guess we canignore that. Maybe if you can give the full 6SE70..-..... -Z +?? +?? part number. Correct, the IVI is the card that is at 90 degreeswhere theCU2 board is slotted in. Regards, Graeme
