Is it correct to use these WinCC addresses in the PLC program to set and reset the discrete alarm errors?

Hi All, I am currently modifying a WinCC program that was written by someone else and need help to understand the way Discrete alarms for errors are handled and addressed. I am running a CPU 315-2PN/DP and MP377 screen. I have programed a new error into the discrete alarms but need help to confirm that what I am doing is correct before I go out into the field to load the program. Questions: [schnippschnapp] 3) I have also set the acknoweldgement group as the same as the existing alarm errors so that all errors including the new one will be grouped and acknowledged at the same time. I have attached a image of my program as well for reference. Thanks for the feed back in advance. Hello, this is also correct. If you ack one of the alarms in this group all alarms in this group will be ack. best regards |
