Hi All, I am currently modifying a WinCC program that was written by someone else and need help to understand the way Discrete alarms for errors are handled and addressed. I am running a CPU 315-2PN/DP and MP377 screen. I have programed a new error into the discrete alarms but need help to confirm that what I am doing is correct before I go out into the field to load the program. Questions: [schnippschnapp] 2) In my PLC program I used the the WinCC generated Trigger Address and PLC ack address to set M31.0 to raise the alarm on the HMI screen and M31.1 to reset the alarm via a switch input into the PLC which will clear the error from the HMI screen. Is it correct to use these WinCC addresses in the PLC program to set and reset the discrete alarm errors? [schnippschnapp] I have attached a image of my program as well for reference. Thanks for the feed back in advance. Other questions can be found in the following threads WinCC Flecible 2008 Novice Question. Is it correct to use these WinCC addresses in the PLC program to set and reset the discrete alarm errors?. |
