WMingenieria Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi all, we have the 6ES7 416-3XL04-0AB0 and duringnormal operationthe CPU will STOP,all the front LED 2Hz flashing LED RUN, STOP, INTF EXTF and CERF , just as it loses communication with the controller via TCP / IP and was necessarypower off the CPU and remove the battery, after that we can connect byMPI cable (USB) and download the program again , after that the PLC work fine during 10 day more and less , the fault happen again . we tried changed the PLC to stop mode to try connect by MPI ,the only optionis to removethe batteryand thenreinstall,then downloadthe whole project tothecpu any help is welcome

When is the last time that the battery is replaced? Sound like the CPU looses his program after a power outage or voltage drop. What is the position of the switch that checks the status of the batteries? Kind regards, BV

WMingenieria Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi BeVee just I upload the diagnostic file, so when the CPU is fault , We cannot connect to diagnostic or see the module information, to enable the connection with the CPU we need to remove the battery and download again the entire program . I will look the the position of the switch and keep you informed, thanks WmIngeniera

gre_m Posts: 947 Rating: (45)	compile and reload the hardware into the CPU. there are reports of incomplete configuration. There are also reports of the adjusted error of memory. May need to contact the SUPPORT and replace the processor on warranty

WMingenieria Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear, we did it during the last fault, so the primitive fault come when the CPU was without power during some hour, after that the fault happened 3 or 4 time ,, the battery was replaced by new one. attached the picture of CPU during the fault . What kind of battery did you use to replace the battery? It should be 3.4V lithium battery. I have seen it before being replaced by 1.5V AA battery Replace both batteries and put selector switch so that it checks two batteries. If no BAT leds lightup, the batteries are OK. Kind regards, BV
