TIA portal after PC crush - project could not be opened

Homeroid_BL Posts: 211 Rating: (6)	I open TIA portal V11 SP2, then i open a project in it. I make samo changes, then I save project (TIA portal stays open). Now, if PC crushes (while TAP portal is opened and project is opened but saved), saved project could not e opened anymore, after PC restart. As soon as project is opened, there is a message "Would you like to restart application?" Anyone knows how to fix it?

FreakOnALeash Posts: 267 Rating: (24)	Hello, if you have a automatic generated backup folder of your project you can try to copy the file of the backup folder in the crashed project folder. 1. Copy the crashed project folder in a new folder. 2. Search the files which are listed in the backup folder in the crashed project 3. overwrite the found files in the crashed project with the ones of the backup folder Then try to open the crashed project with the backup files once again.

Homeroid_BL Posts: 211 Rating: (6)	Tied already; does not work. No way to open it. So, you must save a project every ten minutes with the dfferent names to be sure you will not loose data older than ten minutes.

You should not have on your computer, a project with the same name ("xxxxx.ap11"). If you have a backup in the "desktop" with the same project name that occurs, for my applications this error occurs. I've seen this happen on other computers as well. good luck.

mistersimens Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Kind of solved.. I hace my project on a enterprise server. Cant open the file (wait 2 min message) after 15 min. Disable network adapter, enable, then i can open the project. I hope this help someone. F*ck tia portal
