Simulink toolbox support OPC communication but i dont know how PLCsim can communicate over OPC protcole? I want to know if any intermediate software is available to do this? I have tried Nettoplcsim-S7o-v-0-9-1 to produce avirtual PLC on the network but it didn't work either. Generally is there any OPC server that is capable to connect PLCsim?

I do not believe wheter PLCSIM is released for Simulink. But I recommend to ask the "The MathWorks" company in this regards With best regards Cicero

So it is basically possible but it seems a lot of programming needed for such communication. For this reason I thinka ready to use OPC server which communicate with PLCsim shall be available (at least by Siemens). Regards

So it means that I should find Wincc OPC servers by matlab OPCTOOL command. When I brows the computer on which WinCC is installed i find the following OPC servers: CCOPC.XmlWrapper.1 OPCServer.WinCC.1 OPCServerAE.WinCC.1 OPCServerHDA.WinCC.1 IhaveWinCC and Step7 + PLCsim on one computer and Matlab and (another copy of Step 7+ PLCsim) on another computer. Should all of the componenets installed on one computer? Will it be possible to both read and write data to Simulink (and vise versa) by this method? Thank you very much Best regards
