Hii lolosaurio, look my answers at Display of scaled High Speed Input Values to get (an older) circuit witch counts pulses in a time window periodic Look at my german article too, to find my newest circuit and a link to a solution at the siemens support (but my is better i think!). periodisches Zählen von Impulsen innerhalb einer definierten Torzeit und ggf. Skalieren dieses Wertes Because you have to count pulses up to 2 kHz (the counter can do that) you must remember that the logo! works only at a lower (and dynamic) cycle frequency. AND the block PI-Controler give only every 0,5 s a new output value. That means you can use 0,5 s as time window for my circuit and calculate the speed from the number of counts. Then control a output analoge value with the PI-controller. Hope that this is good enough and the controll speed is high enough for your application. Please use my circuit from the german link, because the clear time of the counter is defind as minimum the logo can do! and thatmeans you lost (at 2 kHz input frequency) a minimum of pulses!!!
