Calling a FC or FB with timers inside multiple times

A FB acts like a code "ROM" memory, while a DB acts like a storage "RAM" memory. You can reuse the same FB as much times you want, but you have to give to each call its own storage place, this is a instance DB. So you have to create a new DB that is totally equal to that you have, except it will store intermediate result and timers of 2nd FB call in new DB.
You can create a new db simply typing on top of 2nd called FB, let say DB123 and it will be created automaticly.

If I understand it correctly, every multi used FB that contains storaged data needs its OWN datablock DB, right? That way it is not possible to combine the single DB's into one?

Is this also true for FB that don't contain timer, counters, etc. but just only simple bit logic operations? (don't need to store data).
Can I combine those? Or isn't that possible as well?

Hi, Why don't you configure your FB with a clock input.  Use INC instruction inside the block to count the pulses. Then use the Compare == Value for your timing. eg. (M0.5) 1Hz Clock on the clock input 5 pluses = 5 seconds.
