Dear Sir or Madam,

Please help me, because Ican not solve my problem alone. I have a CPU314C-2DP. When there is an error occurs, and I have not written error OB, the CPU goes to stop mode, and stop executing user program. What will be the value of the outputs in stop mode? The Step7 help says thatthe outputsremain their last value or change to their safe value. How can I configure the safe values of outputs? For example, thefrequency convertercontrolled motorrotate and the CPU goes to stop and in this case the motor will not stop, because start was the last command?
And what if I use Profibus-DP and there is no error OB? What will be on the bus? The lastused control word?

Hi all In the hardware configuration there is a option to force substitute values for outputs individually.So i want to make use of it.in option it is given as "substitute value 1 when CPU changes its state from RUN to STOPmode!! but it is happening for all STOP mode not for RUN to STOP transition in perticular.In our application there is one MCCB which could be tripped so that there would be power cut off the whole machine.MCCB is tripped when one of the outputs is high(a substitute) .Everytime you power cycle cpu the MCCB will trip.as cpu continues to undergo its startup cycles including STOP mode before going to RUN mode.I am opting out other discussed ways as we have 3 drives need many dedicated outputs and lot of risk involved .here I am at a threshold.Fast reply is expected as i am imagining SIEMENS CPU can damage the machine in any severe way if it ipersists to stop when the devil part of our machine in its moving action.(luckily not yet faced and need to fix it soon)Thanks
