Communication between two panels

Imele Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Hello, [;)] I am working with two panels (TP170B mono) that communicate with one PLC. On one panel I want to create recipes and on the other one I want to choose out of those created recipes. I don't see how I can do this, so if anyone has any suggestions? [:(] Thx

skimmer Posts: 317 Rating: (18)	Hi, I don't think this can be done like you want. It's easy to create a recipe on TP1 and see the values on TP2. Just use the plc as a gateway and use PLC jobs to update the recipe values on TP2. The problem I can see is there is no way to build a list of recipe names on TP2 after they are created on TP1. Unless someone else has a different idea? It's maybe of no use to you but if the TP was TP177PN/DP then you could create the recipe on TP1 and use Sm@rtaccess to select the recipe on TP2.

Imele Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Thx skimmer for your reaction, I was just reading the manuel of the TP170B, and Isee that it's possible to export the data records in a csv.file. If I could write this file to a PC, it would be possible to import this csv.file to the other touchpanel. This way the two panels would have the same recipes. Any idea how this works?? Thx

skimmer Posts: 317 Rating: (18)	You can export it to CSV but how will you get the file to a PC? The only way is to move the CF card. If you use the TP177B PN/DP then you could copy the file over ethernet to a pc.
