Messian Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I have a LOGO 8! FS4 LOGO SOFT 8.1v y SIMATIC S7 1200 1214 AC / DC / RLY with firmware 4.2 TIA PORTAL 14V. I try to connect but nothing happens, S7 not receive anything . the communication doesn't work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from LOGO! 8 FS4 & S7-1200 (FW4.1).

MicTsc Gold Member Joined: 11/16/2012 Last visit: 8/21/2025 Posts: 307 Rating: (52)	I think there is a general problem in communication between S7 1200 and LOGO! 8 FS04. But first of all, did you make sure that put/get is enabled in the S7 1200 config?

Please, we need a solution! Create the connection with the LOGO! as a client and the S7 as a server. In TIA: Make sure that in the "Special connection properties" the check mark "Active connection establishment" is removed. Make sure that in the device view, by the properties of the protection and security (connection mechanisms) the check mark is set for "permanent access for PUT/GET communication from remote partner". Even though I was able to communicate between logo and s7-1200 for one sensor with the help of IXO, I am still in doubt about the addressing concepts in PUT and Get and also in Logo and how they identify the address linking with network io. I am still testing many variables in that and couldn't find a fixed solution. Jay

Maybe I am not understanding the addressing part which makes my testing not work. Communication betwenb the plc is fine. Just the addressing in LOGO and S7 that's is where it's becoming more complicated for me Jay
