I guess that application is working. So, there should be configured some data to be exchange between CPU and MM4. Take a look at For MICROMASTER 4 and for SINAMICS G120/G120D frequency inverters, which parameters can be read-out using PZD? That FAQ can give a starting point in order to undesrstand what have already been configured there and then with small changes to get the wished signals. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Hello BRhyno; To give you a more informed answer to your question, may I suggest this document: Operating Instructions: MICROMASTER PROFIBUS Optional Board A more compact version of this information can be found here: Which terminology do you use for cyclic PROFIdrive communication? In the first section you will be presented with the Profidrive Profile Objects PPO1 to PPO5, whichdeterminediffferent size PKW and PZD in the Profibus telegram. You select which PPOx you will use in theHWConfig editor, when you select the exchange parameters of the drive as a Profibus slave. Using the PKW mechanism you can read and write any parameter you wish inside the drive, but you can do it only one parameter at a time, anm you must program the read/write operation as explained in the section "PKW mechanisms for parameter processing" of the manual above. See also the following FAQ: How do I read / write parameters using PROFIBUS on the MICROMASTER 4 and CU240S/D DP/DP-F and PROFINET on the CU240S/D PN/PN-F? On the other hand, selecting PPO2, PPO4or PPO5 will give you 6 or 10 PZD words that can be associted with (respectively) 4 or 8 parameters in the cyclic exchange of data, so you can monitor these as required (the Control word and the Speed reference are 2 PZD values that cannot be changed in the PZD transmission). This FAQ will discuss how parameters of the drive can be read out through the PZD mechanism. For MICROMASTER 4 and for SINAMICS G120/G120D frequency inverters, which parameters can be read-out using PZD? You will find different program samples explaining the different mechanisms of Profibus-DP exchanges in the following link: Are there program examples for the Instruction Manual of the MICROMASTER PROFIBUS option module? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello e_skazem; Is this a new project you are developing, or a modification of an existing program? Are the drives communicating with the Profibus master at this time? For simple parametrization of the drives (quick commissioning) so they accept commands over Profibus, setting P700 and P1000 to a value of 6 is sufficient. See the following link, and the attached document; also look at the suggested documentation in the earlier posts in this thread. MICROMASTER 4 (MM4): Setting up an MM4 with a Profibus module https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/8894363 If this does not give you an adequate answer, maybe you should try to clarify the original question. Hello skazem, If you have already read all the posts back like this below, and not like the PZD / PKW mechanism, try to inform you about DRIVE ES SIMATIC plus below from your Siemens dep. near you, their blocks are already made and it should be for you..... BUT is not free. MICROMASTER 4 (MM4), SINAMICS G120 (CU240S/D, DP/DP-F, PN ... Have a look table 3.4.1 Drive ES: DRIVE ES Engineering Software - Selection and ... - Siemens |

New question published by bolah is split to a separate thread with the subject Change MM420 to MM440, problem in output frequency. Best regards Thank you all the problem has been resolved, it was P2000 (reference frequency) that i later changed to 100.00 from 50.00 |
