Hi again, Hmm, is it possible you could upload the complete manual? I'm interested in this library because I cannot find it anywhere . I want to have a look at the block inputs/outputs and functionality. For your question, I think you will need a signal to PCS7. Or you have to cut off the feedback value electrically like using a relay of some sort. Without a local signal to PCS7, but with the feedback signal of the motor, it's not possible to create the operating logic for this. The only thing to do is to set the motor to: "Out of service". Now you can start the motor locally, but feedback is not taken into account. I don't think you need the control signal from PCS7 to start the motor right? |

That is correct. But still if I set the In_Fb_On block in simulation mode and cut off the logic coming from the block I was able to get it working. Attached is the documentation. AttachmentPP_DCS_APL_AS_v010201_en.pdf (79 Downloads) |

Hi AGrs, Thanks for the document! And your first rating from me I will have to see if those blocks from paper library support simulation. You have two options for simulation (in APL). Internal and external block simulation. You can use internal simulation for the block itself. For instance, when a feedback signal is not working, you can set the block to simulation and then you can operate the block like normal (in addition, you have to set one featurebit in order to send the control signal to output in case of simulation). External simulation is used to simulate specific signals like feedback signals. In your case and if internal simulation is supported, you can better set the block to internal simulation. In this case, you wont have to simulate the digital feedback signal (because you have to do this in CFC). With the internal simulation, an operator can set this at the faceplate. |
