Hello
You have not mentioned, what type of controller , you are using or plan to use. In my opinion, SIMOTION controllers like D425/D435 are best suited for such applications. Extensive libraries and Application examples are available for SIMOTION for Packaging machine applications. How the old system drives were controlled? Is this same machine mentioned in this post? From the application, it looks like both belts drive speeds are synchronised. |

As I mentioned in my my post above, there was an electronic card in between the two which takes the reference from the main drive drive and do some "black box operations" and outputs this conditioned signal to the feeding belt drive. This is the same machine from the referenced post. The machine speed and the feeding belt speed are not speed synchronized only. It is more complicated than this. This is why I hoped anyone who did a similar application could help me. |

I must have missed that. He's got a 400 system? Damn, for the cost of an I/O card, he can get a D410. |
