Dear N.Tufail, Are you using any AI module or you are using the inbuilt input of 224 XP? Just use 0-10V Supply & connect it with two End Terminals of 1 kohm Pot & Variable Terminal of Pot to V of PLC & the Negative Terminal of POT (which is connected to M of 10V supply), connect it to M of AI of PLC. Hello, you can use following Scaling block as explained by other friends. Please find attachment. You have to insert this library in your Microwin Software to read the counts from Analog input and to scale in required Range. Hope this helps. Attachmentscale.zip (431 Downloads) |

Hello, You can refer following Block codes to acheive your requirement. PLC will get counts value in AIW0 in this case i.e. 0 to 32767 corrosponds to 0-10 V. Please go throgh it. Hope it helps. Attachmentlogic.zip (400 Downloads) |

hello to everybody, i think i was unable to explain my problem thats why will ask my questions step by step, 1)why we scale analouge input value using S_ITR? my professor asked me that we scale the value if it is large enough.but in our case our resistance only vary from 0 to 1K and as a result output value changes from 240mV to 3 V.then why we are scaling the analouge input? can you please help me ? 2)i have attached a file,i this file it is stated that ,a container holds liquid, and at level of 10m analouge current value of 20 mA is converted to 32000(ISH) and value of 4 mA is converted into 6400(ISL), my question is that why the value for 20 mA is 32000 and for 4 mA is 6400? what does 32000 and 6400 means? is the analouge value of 20 mA is equal to 32000 in word? this was the question which was asked by my professor to me,kindly do help me,i shall be very thankful to you? reply me as soon as possible.plx plx plx.
