Hello Everyone!, I want to know, Why SF led is high? Currently, working on s7 400h system the all analogue IO modules show SF led ON. Anyone know how to remove? Will the module works or stops? Regards ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi Daniel, Thanks for reply, The system is S7-400H CPU 416-5H PN/DP attached through profibus with IM 153-2. We have total 20 racks of I/O's (DI,DO,AI,AO). I have read the diagnostic buffer. Hello bilalifc; First of all, it seems from the diagnostic buffer messages that not all diagnostic OBs required for a S7-400H system are present in your program. You should really start by creating them, compile them (even without any program inside them) and downloading them to the CPU memory. See the following discussions and documents: https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/posts/s7-400h-system-obs/46685?page=0&pageSize=10 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/82478488 Next: yiour diagnostiuc buffer is using the available OBs in your program to attempt to iodentify the source of the faults in your configuration. The most often called OB (in your diagnostic buffer) is OB85, Program execution error. It is called for many addresses, all in the P (peripheral) area, for examole address 856 id the last entry of the buffer. I would look at the HWConfig editor and try to locate which module corresponds to address (input or output) 856, 860, 864... Also your first entries mention that certain modules are not correctly configured ("Parameter assignment error in address parameters for submodule"); the addresses givenm there correspond to the diagnostic addresses for these modules , for example addresses 16339, 16340, 16341... Please tell us to what modules these diagnostic addresses correspond. Once you have found one module that the CPU is compllaining about, see if it has been configured and powered properly (is there 24 V power to the analog modules, for xample). Come nback to us if you have troubke understanding the messages or locating the mosules in fault. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
