Have better solution:

1.Create FB using SCL .

2.Create Local Tag of the type TON_TIME or TON_LTIME in the "Static" section.

3.Call you Tag in this FB.

You can define the timer instance db in a STAT area [FBs ONLY].
in the FC you can do it as an IN/OUT and then link to a stat in the calling FB.

I structure programs as follows:

1. all machine parts are programmed in separate FBs
2. small parts used many times [drives/calculations/etc.] are in the FCs
    when FC needs something with memory I declare it as IN/OUT and link it to a STAT
    in the calling FB.
3. to communicate between machine parts a GLOBAL data block (instead of Markers) is used.
    it is divided by STRUCTs - one STRUCT (which may contain sub Structs) for each machine part.
4. HMI/SCADA - 2 data blocks: HMISCADA and ALARMS.

This way program can be nicely structured - usage of the Markers can lead quickly to
a big mess which is hard to amend/maintain/understand and to accidental M overwrites -
for examply when by mustake you assign MD0 and MW2 (MW2 is overwritten by MD0 and second word of MD0 by MW2)
