OPC settings in WINCC Professional TIA V13

PC1: Having TIA V13 WinCC Professional PC2: Kepware OPC client Software If we make a project in Wincc Professional V13 in PC1 with internal tag. This PC will act as OPC server with its default settings. We want to access this tag of PC1 in PC2 through Kepware software. In kepware software we unable to discover OPC UA server name of PC1. If we do same thing using WinCC Advance project with internal tag then we able to discover OPC UA Server and able to access tag in kepware. Difference in setting of WinCC advance & professional project: WinCC advance: UNDER RUNTIME SETTINGS >>SERVICES>>READ/WRITE TAGS : WE TICKED "OPERATE AS OPC SERVER" >>SERVER URL>> OPC.TCP://[HOSTNAME]:4870 WinCC Professtional UNDER RUNTIME SETTINGS Only One setting needs to be done >>SERVER URL>> OPC.TCP://[HOSTNAME]:4861

If you use WinCC as OPC UA server on the WinCC computer the service OpcUaServerWinCC must run. It start only it your project in the runtime mode For the server configuration see WinCC help: WinCC-OPC Server (RT professional) Best regards schufri
