Hi semi-automatic, please look at the following links for some infos from me about the measuring of pulses per time: "motor control" "Display of scaled High Speed Input Values" Now my ideas for a solution of your question: a) The block (digital) threshold trigger is not a good way. b) Mycircuit Demo_Threshold_trigger.zipis possible to use. Thecyclic measuring (= displaying) of a value and the scaling into x/minutes is possible, but with lower measuring time the resolution of the result is going down too! For6 s measuring time to 0..6 if the displayed valueis in x/minute. c) My next circuit in german forum partDemo_gleitender_Mittelwertzähler.zip (from Durchschnitt über 8 Stunden) can solve thisabout b). I have modified this circuit for you with your given parameters and put it into the attachment... The program give an actual value at 8 times into the summary measuring time. Now it is possible to use a bigger value for the measuring (integration) time (here = 60 s) and an actualisation of the display all 7,5 s (with a displayed valuein x/minute) !!! Hi, i am sorry, but i think, the CUB5 works nearly in the same way as my circuit. The way to use a smaler time window and to have a resolution big enough (and have in this way a better speed of measuring results) is only to use a sensor with a higher number of pulses per round! Best regards Betel |
