IGBT failure on Masterdrive 6SE7033-2TG50

The Keeper Advanced Member Joined: 4/6/2006 Last visit: 8/22/2025 Posts: 24 Rating: (2)	I have been working on a drive that continuously is having IGBT failures. The only way you can tell that the IGBT is bad is the fault on the drive F025, 26, or 27, if varies, and then use a multimeter in diode check to check the IGBT's. The drive is a 6SE7033-2TG50 with a MC card in it. I have replaced the bad IGBT's along with the following boards: IGD, IVI, CUMC, and the PSU board. Non of these have been a permanent fix. The drive will run from 4 hrs. to 1.5 weeks without a failure, when it fails replace the IGBT and it will run again for X amount of time. The motor has been Megged & PDMA test, but not load tested, and nothing was found wrong. Even changed the drive out, but had to use the same CUMC, IVI, & PSU board but the IGBT's & IGD board were the factory boards that came with the drive replacement, this was a spare drive slightly smaller and some parts were robbed off at some time. This drive ran for about 2 weeks and it has failed with IGBT fault, after a new motor was installed. This has a rectifier feeding about 8 other drive and this is the only drive causing any problems. Does anybody have any ideas, I am loosing hair over this and I don't have a lot to loose. :)
