Hi, it is possible to have bidirectional communication betwen two 1200 LPCs. I suggest to useTSEND_C and TRCV_C like explained in the Applications&Tools: Ethernet Communication: Data Exchange S7-1200 <-> S7-1200 (CE-X17); Automation solution A http://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/pt/39040038 Tips: 1 - Copy (group) all data that you want to send to a DB. 2 - Simplify your send/recive algorithm: Send your information at fix times intervals (M0.7 = 100ms); read at each scan. |

So I received the second CPU and communication is now working. [schnippschnapp] New questons are splitted to what is the main benefit of using TSEND_C compared to TSEND?. how would be the best way in detecting if LAN cable is puled out of PLC so that connection can be restored after the cable is put back in PLC?.
