Hi, I think this issuehas been already discussed several times in the Forum. You should NEVER fumble in the WinCC database directly. Please use tools like WinCC IndustrialDataBridge or ConnectivityPack: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22578952 nemo |

This is from WinCC help: The Dat@Monitor serves for display and evaluation of current process statuses and historical data on office PCs. For this purpose, you can use standard tools like Microsoft Internet Explorer or Excel. The Dat@Monitor is supplied from a Web Navigator server with current and historical process data. Apart from this, the access to a long-term archive server with Web server is also possible. For display purposes, you can use pictures from the WinCC project or configure special overview pictures. The Dat@Monitor will only have a mere display function - no intervention into the on-site process flow possible. The more important the evaluation opportunities: The user can make use of prefabricated templates for process analysis (e.g. reports, statistics) or compile online historical data according to individual criteria. Licensing is based on the server. Depending on the license selected, 3, 10, 25 or 50 clients can be active at the same time. |
