WinCC /CAS Configuration

The configuration is OS server can store data up to 1 month & CAS can store up to 6 month. We configured the CAS long time back and it was running fine. Suddenly now I can not see data before 1 month on any of the OS client. I have checked all the settings and configurations are according to mentioned in the topic "Use of a central archive server" in one PCS7 manual. Also OS client have server data from OS Server as well as from CAS. But, I can see the segments are getting transfered to CAS from OS Server daily. (1 Segment time period is 1 Day) and CAS have data (segments) from last 6 month in ArchiveManager folder. - One thing what we did few days back is, We downloaded entire OS to both the OS servers due to some reason. Not sure if data is lost from same day. - One more thing, do we need to activate check box "User Archive" in startup parameters list in OS Server & CAS WinCC project..? But this one is not mentioned anywhere inside the document. - I have also tried by regenerating and downloading server data for CAS. Still Not working. Please suggest the solution. Maraitorzzzzz Posts: 140 Rating: (7)	Hi Omkar, If you are performing entire download to OS servers you server archive data will be lost. No need to check User archive for archiving the backup. User archives is a different concept. Check in CAS, any segments are available forprevious month? Are you able to connect to CAS data and fetch the data of previous moths (remaining 5 Months)? I can see in CAS "ArchiveManager" folder that segments are available older than 1 month (OS Server Setting). But coluld not fetch that either in OS Server or in OS client. Thanks, Omkar
