[quote user="Vitor"] - Can i access to the WinCC v6.0database in a PC with WinCC installed, without license, with dat@monitor. Technically yes as WinCC runs in demo mode. However you would be in breach of your licensing agreement. Is this what you meant? [quote user="Vitor"] What do you recommends (i have to analysis WinCC database): - Datamonitor or Connectivity Pack? If you are familiar with databases, SQL and programming then use the Connectivity Pack. If you are not familiar then use DataMonitor If the end-user wants to build their own reports or do ad-hoc analysis then you should use DataMonitor. DataMonitor involves NO programming and is designed to be used by end-users Connectivity Pack is a developers tool and designed to be used by developers / systemintegrators. Basically it all comes down to your / your customer's expectations and skill set. |
