Hello, I have recently acquired the latest version of the IOT2050-ADVANCED-PG2 device number 6ES7647-0BA00-0YA2 and FS:05. However, I have noticed that it does not come with an operating system image on its eMMC card as it was explained in this post. This could be due to the fact that it is a newer model. I attempted to use the IOT2050_Example_Image_V1.1.1 image on an SD card, but it resulted in a failure with the message: "Failed to load k3-am6548-iot2050-advanced-pg2.dtb". I have a couple of questions regarding this device:
Thank you in advance for your assistance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi, this post is likely old and you are right, on the newer models there is no Industrial OS pre-installed - due to incompatibilities (we have a compatible version since a week, this is currently not yet pre-installed - see here). The Example Image V1.1.1 is incompatible with FS:05 as well. You have two possibilities:
Regarding C++ with Cross Compilation I would recommend the Example Image as there is an SDK available. When you don't want to cross-compile it doesn't matter which OS you use. Python is supported by both operating systems. Best regards! |
Not working for IOT2050 support anymore from March 1st, 2024. |
