Connection issue with TP177A6" and S7 CPU 315-2PN/DP

CyberJo Regular Member Joined: 7/26/2012 Last visit: 5/17/2022 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm quite a newbe here but I I,m struglling to connect a TP177A to my Stef 7, I'm using winccFlex 2008 with Step 7 V5.5SP1 My connection is a profibus between the panel and the CPU. In wincc I'm able to configure the panel but I can't transfer my project to the panel. The panel is started and configured with the right port. Any idea who can help me out? My configuration : 1. PS 307 5A 6ES7 307-1EA00-0AA0 2. CPU 315-2PN/DP 6ES7 317-1BH02-0AA0 4. SM321 DI 16xDC 24V 6ES7 321-1BH02-0AA0 5. SM321 DI 16xDC 24V 6ES7 321-1BH02-0AA0 6. SM322 DO 16xDC 24V/0.5A 6ES7 322-1BH01-0AA0 7. SM322 DO 16xDC 24V/0.5A 6ES7 322-1BH01-0AA0 8. Since I have TP177A I changed HSA to 63, according to specs. Also tried to add a new panel from scratch bit no luck. Only thing I can think of is the cable itself. I terminated this at both sides (switched to ON) I assembled this myself without any stripping tools. Is there a way to verify the cabling? Can I check this by measuring it? If so, which pin layout do I have to check?

I verified in WinCC if the settings are the same : Yes. Dipswitches on the back are all High (1). Tried with the Transfer option enabled as well. So far no luck.

Ste39 Platinum Member Joined: 1/21/2013 Last visit: 10/23/2024 Posts: 4620 Rating: (708)	Hi CyberJo, I think that channel 1 (Serial transfer) is disabled right? appears some error message in WinCC Flexible? is the "classic" control cables, etc. ..? you do not have, just to test the cable PPI/Multimaster? or this 6ES7972-0CB20-0XA0 Maybe you need to do this: How do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels?
