Please inform us it is possible to communicate S71200 in S7 PLC SIM V12 Regards Iyyappan S Hello Mr. IYYAPPAN, You have trobule only in case if you have STEP 7 Basic v12. A workaround can be as Mr. Denilson Pegaia said, you can create your program in S7-1200 and simulate using S7-1500 (as S7-1200 and S7-1500 behaviour is similar >90%) only prerequisite for this will be STEP 7 Professional v12 and S7-PLCSIM v12

Ashish Vasavir Experienced Member Joined: 2/8/2009 Last visit: 4/9/2024 Posts: 56 Rating: (3)	convert your project in S7 1500. and than simulate it using PLC SIM v12. for this "add new device" to your current project and for this select hardware as S7 1500. after this copy "Program blocks", "PLC tags", and all folders that you used for your s7 1200 project. compile this and check if programming is compatible for S7 1500 or not if necessary chage according. and than simulate in PLC SIM v12.
