When I'm on the 2.2 step, my iot2000 doesn't recognize the modem as an GSM modem. Is it about the kernel compilation? I'm testing it with a Huawei 3531 USB stick.

Edit: I did some configurations on usb_modeswitch.conf and now it doesn't switches automatically to mass storage mode, but the scripts provided doesn't work to configure PPP connection.

I can confirm that the Huawei ME909s-120p is working with the IOT2020.

Actually I m using SIM7600E-H chipset on iot2000 SIMATEC2040 , I followed the procedure described here but without success! the hat script is falling to connect, so ppp0 interface is missing in ifconfig!

in fact, this chipset is able to connect on 4G cell when iot2000 is powered on, and it s recognized as a modem :

The LTE Cat4 Modem TELIT LE910-EU V2 SIM is working with the manual above:
This is a result of my work with Andrea Ghezzo of Telit support team.

Make sure to order LEPCHEU2003T001000 (with SIM Slot).
LEPCIEU2002T001 (without SIM) is also working, but the common Mini-PCIe SIM adaptors won't fit in the IOT2040 housing.
The foil based SIM Adapter used in the manual above isn't working with the Telit LE910-EU V2.

Install the card following the manual of Bergmanu.

Open /etc/ppp/options-mobile with WinSCP or nano.
Change the first line "ttyUSB0" to "ttyACM0" or "ttyACM3".

If this isn't working, update the firmware.
I used a ECWA2-LITE Mini PCI-E to PCI-E adaptor to use the card in a windows PC und updated via Telit XFP.
