Dear All old and new users of this forum, Based on my 13 years of hardware repairs experience I had written a 7 part series on the hardware of the masterdrives in this forum earlier. I had received many feedbacks also for the same. I recd a very imp. suggestion saying that such good piece of information will be lost in this forum. I this thread i am providing links for all the 7 parts so that the users can get this information in one place. I would really be happy to get your valuable feedbacks and Ratings for these postings. https://www.automation.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/Posts/17276#top https://www.automation.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/Posts/17348#top https://www.automation.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/Posts/17442#top https://www.automation.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/Posts/17623#top https://www.automation.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/Posts/17809#top https://www.automation.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/Posts/17874#top https://www.automation.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/Posts/17887#top Thanks. Hello diwa; Thanks again for the threads. I had missed the last one, the 24 V Simulation test is new information to meand very interesting. I will have to study this further. Can you tell us if the hardware you are describing for Masterdrives is similar to the one of the newer units, in theSinamics family? Actually, could you add to these threads by giving some basic troubleshooting information on these drives? I understand that this is something that requires training and experience, but basically what shoulda competent tech look at before we call the drive technician in, or what information (voltage, resistance levels) should we examine to help diagnose a situation? Or even, what are the most common forms of failures you have encountered on Masterdrives over the years? Regards, and again many thanks, Daniel Chartier Edit: I just took the liberty of creating a pdf file that includes all 7 posts of this thread by diwa. Hope it can help other lazy forum members who like all their meat on the same plate, as I do... D.C. AttachmentAll you ever_Masterdrive hardware.pdf (1656 Downloads) |
