· Ok, firstly check your products are compatible using this FAQ · Ensure that the Windows Firewall is disabled. · Ensure you are not logged onto a domain when installing. · If Hyperthreading is available then you should disable it in the BIOS · Disable / uninstall any anti-virus software while installing Salma |

OK · If Hyperthreading is available then you should disable it in the BIOS Should be OK · Disable / uninstall any anti-virus software while installing Yes I have now uninstalled WinCC, message queing and MSSQL in addition I have deleted regisry entries for WinCC flexible, WinCC HMI and MSSQL. Any more registry items that would be smart to delete? Tomorrow I will install everything again according to the items in this post! Fingers crossed! V |

Hello V, The latest version of WinCC Flexible is 2005 SP1, you may find some info on setting up Flexible's system here. I would've installed Flexible before WinCC and it's components, as I said... did you create an image of a clean windows installation? Best regards, Danielle |
