Compare Blocks option missing....

I have compare my installation on my laptop (the one in the left) with the software installed in a virtual machine (the one in the right). As you can see, both are quite similar, the only difference is that on my laptop I have W10 (where is not working correctly) and in the virtual machine I have W7 (where it works). I have installed V5.6+SP1 Release K5.6.1.0_9.1.0.2 Edition K5.6.1.0. Is there any one newer? Where can I find it? Thanks

debiz Member Joined: 10/16/2014 Last visit: 8/22/2024 Posts: 2 Rating: (1)	Hi, i have the same problem, Windows 10 Pro, version 1809, Build 17763.678 inside a vmware virtual machine, installed software as attached. I've found that the compare window shows and work when i click on the BLOCK FOLDER, and when i click on the single blocks/DB in the list ONLY IF THE VIEW MODE IS NOT IN "DETAIL". If the blocks view mode is "details" the compare block window opens but is INVISIBLE, if i press enter anywhay the compare operation is performed... This is a strange problem that i think is internal at step7, in the compare blocks window management/parameters. You can work around by avoid using detail view for blocks, or by clicking on the block folder and later select the blocks to compare. Regards.
