How to connect the computer to the T400 technology card?

jetmsia95 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	HI, I've tried installing update3 but still receiving same error. How can I know whether T400 is connected to my pc ? Ignoring the error message, I think I was able to compile and load CFC in T400, but in Test Mode I receive #### value for input signals of T400. Ragrds Teoh

You can check if your connection working in the following way: Open CFC-chart, go to the menu 'CPU-Module Information', if you get the result window with the CPU state, then your connection is ok. Also you can go to the menu 'CPU-Compare', if you get the window with compare result, then your connection is ok. Could you also try a fresh installation, i.e. new VM, new Win XP and new Siemens SW install?

jetmsia95 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hi, i got the L4_Protocol error message after clicking 'Accessible Nodes' in SIMATIC. I think the T400 is already connected to PC by checking the CPU-> Module Information and CPU-> Compare, even with the L4_Protocol error. Regards Teoh
