Online adapter only shows "Teleservice"

Regards, So the installattion media is TIA Portal V11 SP2, not TIA Portal V11, and you had to install SP1 & SP2 afterwards. In that case, what has been attempted? Repaired on the network adapter? Enabled the profinet and Siemens related protocols in the adapter's configuration? FYI, I am like you, a portal end user, not a Siemens employee, so I have no resources other than from reading the experiences of others on these forums. I have not seen this problem before. When you installed the software, was it installed using an admin account or user account? Are there any IT group policies that might prevent adapter protocols from being installed or started? If your computer has microsoft office, even though you may not use it and may not have intended for needing it, you may need to uninstall, then reinstall the portal, and then reinstall the office package. If you are an admin on your laptop, create a new user account on your computer, and see if the problem exists on that account as well.

AutoGen_1049754 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I had the exactly same problem ... i discovered that the problem came after installing MICROWIN 4.0 due to incompatibility issues from microsystem communication drivers.. solution :INSTALL MICROWIN 4.0.9 which have no this type of issues run s7 1200 tool and try it see attached pictures Attachment solution.png (827 Downloads)

Run SIMATIC S7DOS HELP SERVICE I had a different problem than you (i could saw my adaptor but was not able to establish a connection), but you could try it, that is what I can help you with!

0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 3/23/2023 Posts: 13203 Rating: (2147)	Without knowing the problem, I suggest picking up the windows 10 laptop, tossing it out a window from a great height, and purchase a Siemens PG/PC where Siemens provides a working TIA Portal right there on the computer, with a guarantee behind it. No, I do not really mean that. But if you were us trying to help you, that's the only suggestion (I can think of) that is guaranteed to work. Finally, the siemens support has sent me a procedure which has solved it. So, if that can help somebody in the future, i share it (Problem on all my versions of TIA (15-16-17), OS: Win10) In my side, Online adapter only shows "Teleservice" and on the Online Access i was not able to update the accessible devices, the error message "Function not implemented in loaded communication driver" appeared. If it's your case, try the procedure below: - Restart your PLC and do NOT open any SIMATIC software. - Go into the device manager and delete your network adapter. ( If requested to delete the drivers, keep them) Now go into this folder without restarting the computer C:\ProgramData\Siemens\Automation\Simatic OAM\data\LogDevices - Rename the folder ' LogDevices ' - Afterwards restart the computer. - Wait till the network card is available again. - Install the PC Identifier agian - Restart PC => Start TIA and try the interface again
