PCS7 Fail Safe Sequencer

I should realize a sequencer logic for the startup of plant; do you know if exist any block fail safe to realize a sequencer or a steps machine? Thank you Best regards Giorgio Facco

Therfore standard SFC withf blocks logic can be used. In1.F_And4:E. g. the command from sequenze to open a gas valve is connected (via converter block) to IN1 of a “F_AND4” block. In1.F_Or: Feedback closed of the valve (Safety Input) is connected to an Off delay (1s)and from there to the first input (IN1)of a "F_OR" block. In2.F_Or: Flame detection (Safety Input) is connected to the second input (IN2) of the same "F_OR". In2.F_And4: And the output of "F_OR" is connected to IN2 from "F_AND4" The output signal from the "F_AND4" block is connected to a "F_CH_DO" which opens the valve.If the valve is closed the sequence can open it. But if there is no flame detected (after 1s) the valve will be closed. Best regards

However, the Safety Matrix can be configured to act as a sequencer. Safety Matrix is used with F-System and is TUV certified to SIL 3.
