hexe Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi! we are having a problem with our redundancy system; is an 414-4H system, and due to a programming error the standby CPU went to stop mode. When we try to start it we get this error message: "This action is not permitted in the current mode of the module"; we tried to stop the whole system and restart everything again, and even reset the memory, but still won't go. Any ideas? Thanks Hexe

john Enthu Posts: 69 Rating: (0)	Dear Hexe, please, put both the CPU in RUN-P mode. and download the whole program again. you will find both cpus in RUN mode. whenever you are downloading or modifyingsomething in the CPU, you need to put both cpus in RUN-P Mode. while completing all modifications, you put in RUN mode so that nobody can play with your program. regards, John.......

I reseted memory through hardware as well as through software. 2. Download individually as well as at both time in both CPUs. 3.When i went to start through warm/cold restart, it shows THIS ACTION IS NOT PERMITTED even my switch is in RUN position only. Please find attchment WARM RESTART PAGE NO 2 When i clicked on HELP this page got open. Please find attchment WARM RESTART WARM RESTART PAGE NO 1. In H system YOu no need to download the program to both system.So please do the procedure once again

Close all the active windows. Go to CPU annd try to put CPU in Run mode Manually. if you found any error while downloading the Hardware Configuration,Please do following Procedure. 1) Execute memory reset first 2)Keep Both CPU in stop mode and download the hardware configuration in stop mode. 3) After sucessful download Swtiched the CPU in Run Mode Manually. Hope this will Solve your problem.

MANOJ.N Posts: 81 Rating: (2)	Hello, I have done downloading in both PLCs. But it is not going into start mode. Please find attachment, it shows diagonstics & help of the same. It is showing I/O error but same programe is getting downloaded in rack 0 CPU. There is no problem in programe as well as in hardware configuration.
