S44 Posts: 123 Rating: (4)	Hi, I use the OB86 to detect incoming/ougoing DP Failure. this block is called when the cpu is in runtime, and when there is incoming/ougoing Failure, but it seams that if doesn't report the failure just after the CPU restart. how can i refresh this OB86? (call it cyclically) i am looking for a possibility to show all faulty DP nodes, not only one, if there is many at the same time or already at the cpu start-up. thank you in advance fopr your help!

This is my idea: You could call the SFC 51 with SZL-ID W#16#xy91 to check which are available and ok and which arn't at the moment. To get information about the startup call this function within your startup OB Information about SFC 51 could be found here: System Software for S7-300/400 System and Standard Functions Volume 1 and Volume 2 Have a look at capture 34.23 Good luck Sabine

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	In addition to Sabina's post - SFC51 can be used to acquire quick info on all nodes of network. To get specific diagnostics you can use SFC13 - you will get more info, but on particular device (not whole network). So i guess the best is to use combination of these SFCs.
