Hi All, I am currently modifying a WinCC program that was written by someone else and need help to understand the way Discrete alarms for errors are handled and addressed. I am running a CPU 315-2PN/DP and MP377 screen. I have programed a new error into the discrete alarms but need help to confirm that what I am doing is correct before I go out into the field to load the program. Questions: 1) In my PLC program I created MW30 for the Alarm_Status_2 in the Symbol table and I programmed MW30 for the Trigger Tag "Alarm_Status_2" in winCC, therefore the Trigger Address "M31.0" and PLC ack address "M31.1 was automatically generated by WinCC when I added my new discrete alarm " GTA 4100R Rack 24VDC Power Loss' as an Errors. Is this correct procedure? [schnippschnapp] other questions are splitted to 2) I also set the acknoweldgement group as the same as the existing alarm errors so that all errors including the new one will be grouped and acknowledged at the same time. 3) Is it correct to use these WinCC addresses in the PLC program to set and reset the discrete alarm errors?. I have attached a image of my program as well for reference. Thanks for the feed back in advance. |
